Oedipus Vexed; or Tragic Motherfucker

A retelling of the Oedipus myth in American suburbia. Oedipus is a chronic masturbator who tells his story through stand-up soliloquies. He’s attracted to his adoptive mother and her lipstick that she wears to bed in case there’s a tragedy in the middle of the night. He meets a rebellious girl named Christina who urges him to confront the root of his desires. The pair ditch school and go to the Delphi Cleaners, where Ed’s dirty laundry further soils his fate.
